Morning Thunder is a lifestyle platform created to deliver high-quality metrics to turkey hunting and outdoor companies. Produced by the award-winning filmmakers of Project Upland and the award winning filmmakers of “The Disease”. In March of 2018, Morning Thunder will launch a multimedia approach to this timeless pursuit through film, photography and the written word.

1. PRODUCTION

Northwoods Collective is quite literally a “collective” of the best outdoor production crews in the industry. We have the ability to produce the highest caliber of photography and videography for any outdoor industry project.

2. LIFESTYLE

We are storytellers. On account of that, “lifestyle branding” is just about all we let out of our studio. The target word our creative team goes for is EPIC and we do not stop until we are there.

THE 2018 FILMS

The first season of Morning Thunder consists of 7 inspiring films. Including Dean “Redbeard” Mundhenke, following up on the award winning film “The Disease”. This multi regional and highly versatile series covers a wide spectrum of people and traditions.

1. SPRING FAMILY

A journey that transcended from one turkey hunt to a family built on its foundation. A first date in the turkey woods to a passion for the sport. This family has grown through the outdoors as they pass this tradition on to there three kids.

2. New Englander

New England Regional Director of the NWTF Fred Bird has dedicated his life to Wild Turkey Conservation. He explores the meaning of turkey hunting culture and what it means to the future of this iconic bird.

3. BOND OF BROTHERS

Three brothers bridge time, geography, and a war to gather together for the first time in over a decade after the loss of a father, step father, and mentor. To bond through the outdoors as two brothers hunt for their first time with their seasoned hunting brother for Wild Turkeys.

4. NO CURE

Dean “Redbeard” Mundhenke, follows up on the award-winning film “The Disease” by hunting long beards in a new state, Missouri. Follow Redbeard to a vintage cabin tucked away into the Ozark hills.

5. REKINDLE

Jim Ronquest is the host of RNTV on Sportsman
Channel and one of the most prominent names in flooded timber duck hunting. However Jimbo’s first love was turkey hunting, creating much of the Primos Truth turkey content in the eighties. Here we rekindle Jimbo’s love of the wild Turkey

6. POOR MAN’S ELK HUNT

Jeff Lusk, a northwest elk bowhunter… spends his springs being just as vocal chasing turkeys. This spring he journeys to Lebanon, Missouri where he is challenged with record flooding with limited time to hunt.

7. MAKING OF A WOODSMAN

Jesse St Andres is the director of hunter education for Massachusetts Wildlife. A Maine raised woodsman, brings his passion for the wild him to CT as his family maintains a sustainable lifestyle based on what they hunt, gather, and grow.
