Chet Hervey

With nineteen years of marketing and content creation expertise, Chet founded Northwoods Collective in 2017 and built it into a premiere full service creative agency. Over the past 8 years, NWC has served nearly 100 clients across a broad spectrum of services. Chet has jumped in the trenches with founders to formulate and deploy comprehensive marketing strategies and has come alongside corporate marketing departments and C-suites to support their marketing efforts through content creation, SEO performance audits and roadmaps, sales funnel mapping and automations, UI/UX/customer journey improvements, social media strategy, and more.

Chet has worked with some of the most prominent brands and celebrities in the world – from Jimmy John’s and Verbero Hockey to Shinedown and Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. – he has had a front row seat to shaping brand narratives and bringing products to market.  Creating brand loyalty, communicating value propositions, and understanding the interface between business development, sales, and marketing are the core skills that make Northwoods Collective’s approach to business a success.

RJ Hosking

RJ Hosking is a seasoned business strategist with over two decades of experience leading product innovation, two-sided marketplace growth, and brand transformation. As the former CEO of RareWaters and a senior leader at Patagonia and Zamp Solar (now Dometic), RJ has built a career at the intersection of product design/development, business development, and customer experience—scaling ideas into industry-shaping platforms.

RJ brings deep expertise in marketplace leadership, having architected full-stack DTC strategies, grown supply networks, and led successful fundraising efforts. He’s played an integral role in M&A activities, both as a strategic lead through acquisition and as an advisor identifying new investment and exit opportunities. Whether launching new product lines or fostering brand collaborations, RJ is a connector at heart—bringing together the right people, partners, and strategy to unlock meaningful growth.
