Objective: Built vision and strategy deck with key stakeholders to build MVV and potential M&A/exit opportunities.


Project Scope

Partnered with Founders of Descend on Bend to build strategy and vision deck to present to key stakeholders in preparation for potential acquisition.  Came along side founders to help build sponsorship program, donations, and strategic, organic growth over multiple years.  Proposed board of directors team formation, identified M&A partners, and aligned with founders on strategic initiatives for organic growth.  


1. Vision and Strategy Deck

Objective: Built 2022 Vision and Strategy deck for founders to help align direction of festival with key stakeholders.  

Activities: Led founder meetings to coordinate and identify Board Members, M&A opportunities, YOY market growth projections, and host strategic offsite. 

Outcome:  Aligned founders on strategic growth direction through 2025.  


2. Key Partnerships 

Objective: Identify key partnerships for yearly events held in 2021-2023 to fund event financially and with in-kind donations.  Created 3 tier partnership categories to carry Descend On Bends mission, vision, and values.  

Activities: Raised funds to support 2021-2023 from key partnerships including: Dometic, BoneYard, REI, Luno, Spoken Moto, Moon, Aeronaut, Deschutes Brewery, and Zamp Solar.  

Outcome:  Partnerships were secured with acquisition conversations in place.  Aligned founders with key brand partners in the Outdoor and Beverage space to assist on
